Charles,
Iwas raised in a Catholic home yet not religious at all. I thought the way that I had been going was ok and hoped to go to Heaven but soon realized that my way was not going to inherit eternal life. A friend through my high school years had shared to me some things about his own life had been changed and I didn’t understand what he meant, well sure enough he took the time one day to give his testimony(Acts26:18) on how God saved him from hell and that I don’t have to go there and told me the way to heaven and who I am in the sight of God at that time. Sure enough I trusted Christ as my Savior .In 1996 and began to serve my Lord ever since. From there my journey has been to walk with the Lord ever since and to continue in reading and understanding his words. I thank God for how he has drawn me to his Son Jesus Christ. I have been called to complete my studies in the Bible and was brought to the Philippines in 1998 and completed two years at Word of Life bible Institute and married my wife 2002.In all of the traveling to the country I started to develop a burden for the nationals of the Philippines and came back home to continue my studies at Pensacola Bible Institute and God is calling me & has given me the burden to return to the Island of Mindanao to Finish what the Lord started in my heart ten years ago and that is to build churches in the southern region of Mindanao and start a Bible Institute to train the Cagayanon people to reach ,teach and preach to there own till he comes.
Janette,
I am a product of an unequally yoked couple but came to know Christ when I was still a child .I grew up active in church, however, my life was marked with failure because I did not resemble Christ in my life as much as I should .I was what you call a backslider. I was involved with the things of the world but soon realized that it wasn’t satisfying and the Joy of the Lord was not evident in my life and not in the will of God. In spite of my utter unfaithfulness God graciously preserved me for his very own purpose .He picked me up and brought me to bible school as will and from there my life my Christian walk has never been the same through the study of Gods word and fervent prayers of family and friends the Lord put in me a desire to never go back to what the world could offer temporarily and to serve him and reach the lost at any cost. As of now I am following in the lead and calling of my husband Charles to go back to my homeland and start the mission work that we so desire to do.
